I am using a great olive-oil Q10 moisturizer. But will my skin become dependent on it and thus age faster if I stop using it? I mean faster than it would have if I had never started? In other words, does moisturizer change the way my skin produces its own moisture?

No, moisturizer does not change the way your skin "produces moisture". By law (FDA regs) cosmetic products are forbidden to affect the structure and function of the body, which includes the skin.

Ur skin is dependent on moisturiser anyway. If u start using anti-ageing/firming creams early on then u shouldnt have a problem.
