Most Councils will take 'normal' household waste away when they collect your rubbish on their usual rounds. Bulkier items can be taken to the tip or some Councils will do special collections if you ring them. How about looking at the Council website for more information?

Any waste can be taken to a council tip They even have re-cycling bins nowadays.. To empower yourself, look up facilities under environment on your local council web site

In the UK yes it can. They have a selection of skips and containers for recyclable materials and some for non-recyclable, household waste usually goes into this one.

As long as it is not building rubbish you can take anything else to your tip
