That depends on age, maturity level, relationship status of the girl or guy (outside of the friendship. High school guys are a lot less likely to be just friends with a girl; it's more likely a case of trying to hook-up. Even so with lots of college guys. In addition, it probably matters whether the girl is a relationship. Such factors can affect how the friendship progresses.

I personally have a lot of guy friends. I also have a boyfriend. The greatest part is that most of my guy friends are also friends with my boyfriend, so if I hang out with them or talk to them when he isn't around, it's not really a big deal. Most I knew before I even met him so he knows that they are my friends.

There isn't anything inherently wrong with being friends with guys; I actually prefer it because they are usually more laid back and less dramatic than female counterparts. Just evaluate the individual and gauge whether or not it truly is a friendship. Good luck!

Nothing wrong with it, but you do need to realize that more than likely the guy is thinking of something else (more) from the friendship than you are. Chances are this guy is going to start thinking that maybe you are wanting to be more than just friends or maybe even more (sex). Im not saying that is right or wrong for him to think that way, im just saying that is how guys think.
Also, when you do get a steady boyfriend that you like he is not going to be too accepting of the idea of you being close friends and hanging out on your own with your guy friends. He is not going to like the idea of you hopping in a car with some other guy and driving to the mall or movies just because you are friends.
Thats just how things are.

It may lead to premarital and / or extra- marital relationship. Thus, a 'Family' is not founded. Without a family a nation is not founded on high moral principles. Such nations may be a threat to world peace.

not at all, as long as boundaries are set. ( some guys , no matter what you say, will come onto you. stay away from them. some guys stay so far from the boundary they wont even hug you, which is okay, but not if you need support.)

She is being niave and silly if she honestly thinks guys just want to be "friends" with her and arent hoping they are gonna get a little sex in return.
That is the only reason a guy would want to be your friend. If he thinks he can get in your pants hes gonna want to be your friend. If he doesnt think that, hes gonna go hang out with his buddies(other guys).
