I go for a drive and listen to music, get away from whatever is making me nervous, it helps to forget if only for awhile.

today i learnt that when you are nervous you should sit or stand up straight, keep you head straight, look slightly upwards with out moving your head, close your eyes and imagine urself doing the thing ur nervous about (ie sitting an exam) but u have to imagine that u are calm and happy, in control and enjoying your self. do that about 5 times a day, start a week before u have to confront the thing ur nervous about, and ur anxiety levels will drop dramatically.

I block out the situation that is pissing me off by closing my eyes, clenching my fist, and taking a deep breath, tell my self that it's not this serious, and after this little relaxation technique I'm not 100% back normal, but I do feel alot better, and the fact I have a clearer conscious, I can make better judgments on how to access the situation that is nerve wrecking.

Think about why you are nervous. Then give yourself reasons why you shouldn't be nervous. Then think about the odds of what you think is going to happen against the other choice.
