i a irregular period since 6 months i have my period twice a month on specific dates 1st heavy 2ND so light?

i am a very active woman with a lot of responsibility and sress .i had a very reguler period, but now i have it on the right time but after a week i have another light period with period pain .i did smear in june 2006 all fine.and recently i did infection test ,results normal...why am i having irregulier period ? should i consult a doctor again? can the period be regulier again without taking any medication? thanks for your help

i would definitely go back to the doctor..most likely he will try to put u on birth control to make ur period more regular..but if u are concerned about taking any sort of medication i would talk to him/her about that.

what is your age? 1. if you are past 35 years, it may be the beginning of menopause when the hormone production in your body may go haywire resuting in some sort of irregularity. 2. you mention that you are stressed which again may be responsible for the irregularity 3. the fact that there is associated pain is worrisome.. maybe you have some endometioitic lesion or some adenomatous polyp . better check with your doctor and have a through assessnment .

Cool it my friend. Nothing is seriously wrong. Most women have pain periods and also twice. As you have said you are very active and stressed. This may have caused hormone imbalance.However see a lady doctor. If you have not hurt your Virgina physically or intercourse by force, you have nothing to worry. Trust yourself and I am quite sure you shall have your regular periods. Eat well and have plenty of Juice. Make sure that your vagina is wet and not dry.
