I keep the tv on even if I'm not watching it. Gotta have the background noise. If someone were breaking in, I'd know it regardless.

Because my house is so noisy most of the time I really enjoy the peace when it is quiet. But I can't stand it for too long and eventually turn on the radio or a cd.

I usually turn the radio or tv on just for company. I'm not afraid of someone breaking in. My Dad told me years ago, that if someone got me, they would bring me back....

Besides the constant ringing in my ears, I also have either music or the TV on all night. The dog takes care of the burglars.

Gotta have noise, radio on in kitchen and in room Im in, need music you only hear the noise of the house if its quiet, like it creaking and stretching if the suns out, shrinking when its cold, settling at night booooring!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

I gotta have background, unless I'm really exhausted and want to get to sleep, but I always keep the television in my room on the cartoon channel on very low volume.

Just my cat snoring.
At night, I keep a fan running for white noise. Otherwise I can't get to sleep.

I have quadruple insulation to deaden the sound outside, then installed soundproof windows. Then it was so quiet I got CD recordings of jackhammers and people cursing in traffic so the house wasn't so boring.
Now it's perfect.
