I have a vinyl kitchen floor that has been stained by a rubber backed area rug. Can I remove the stain?

You should be able to clean it with Ammonia IF the stain has not seeped into the Vinyl. If it has there is not much you can do but replace the Vinyl Floor.

Spray with a foaming bathroom cleaner, wait a few minutes and then scrub. Still there - then apply straight bleach and scrub. Should come out.

Try "Goo Gone" to remove the residue. Good luck
