Why do rebounds fail?

Why is it when you are on the rebound you feel like its true love but the statistics show rebounds never seem to last longer than a few months?

because it something new you don't know them and the person you really with has scorned you rebound never work cause your are after the moment and impression can make or break it might sound like a good ideal at the time but it will end because of what has being going on between you and the ex loved one

Rebounds are a way of one person to get over someone they have just broken up with, and when in a rebound relationship, you only think what you feel for the other person is love, but really it is a desire to be with someone while your soul heals from the effects of your previous relationship, such as you don't think you are ready to be single again, so you try all you can to be with another person so you won't have to deal with the emotional pain.,

In a rebound, you see what you want to see in the person...as in anybody but the ex-. This is not good because it keeps you from seeing the new person as they are, and that's what counts.

Because you shouldnt replace one relationship with another. you actually tend to get attracted to the same kind of person though initially you think they are different. OR - you dont change. you are the same person. History repeats and when its the rebound??????????goddamn its closely dated :)
