I am immigrating there with my family and a bachelors degree in IT engnn by the end of this year.But Engnn is not my cup of tea,writing is.Are there any good Universities that provide writing courses in part time college so that i can work as well as study?

Well I don't know about US unis but you can do it in form of Distance Learning from Manchester.The Institute is Writers Bureau.Their site is writersbureau.com.So go for it.Hope to see you published someday.
