I know there is a word that is pronounced "inaimable" but I can't spell it (can't even get close enough for spell checkers to guess it). It's usually used in conjunction with the word rights and it means that they can't be changed or overuled.

Anybody have a clue how to spell it?

I know "inalienable" is a word and it fits the description you're using but that doesn't have an 'm' sound.

inalienable rights

The term inalienable rights (or unalienable rights) refers to a set of human rights that are said to be absolute, not awarded by human power, not transferable to another power, and incapable of repudiation. Several different sets of inalienable rights have been suggested by philosophers and politicians. Inalienable rights are defined as natural rights or human rights, but natural rights are not required by definition to be inalienable.

I think is 'individual rights'.

"Individual rights" identify limits of how one individual may interact with another in society. Individual rights are distinct from human rights as the possession of these rights does not depend on humanness as the source of authority, but rather the actions of the individual. Individual rights can be forfeit when an individual does not exercise reciprocal respect and restraint. Individuals rights carry duties such as the obligation ot remedy damages when the rights of another are violated.
