Could anyone help me [teach me] how to solve the questions?
1. The conversion of glucose into ethanol and carbon dioxide is given by the following equation:
C6H¹²O6 → 2C²H5OH + 2CO²
If 24 grams of ethanol is recovered from the conversion of 50 grams of glucose, what is the % yield?
2. Refer to the Equation below:
Mg + 2AgNO³ → Mg(NO³)² + 2Ag
If 15 grams of MG and 150 grams AgNO³ are allowed to react, find: a) Limiting Reactant
B) Excess Reactant
C) ms of the ER that will be consumed in the Reaction?
D) ms of the ER that will remain unreacted.
E) The ms of CO² that will form
F) ms of H²O that will be produced.
I found it in my book but i don't understand it. ">.>
