I had this problem recently and in fact thr cobbler fixed them up a treat. If you're referring to the plastic bit that is fixed to the bottom of the stiletto heel then it's not a problem, they replace this with new fixings. It's amazing what cobblers can do and they are very under-rated. They can even re-sole rubber soles and build onto shoes when they've worn down. Seriously, go to your cobbler and get him to sort them out, money well spent instead of spending lots on a new pay. I estimate that it will cost around £4 to 8, so it's not that much! it depends where you're living. But i wouldn't bother going to a franchise cobblers like Timpson's, they charge the earth - go to a sole trader Cobbler.

An old fashioned cobblers is best . get both boots done at the same time. It will cost about £5-£6 . They will also give them a polish for you.

yeh i get my boots heeled all the time,if theres nothing wrong with them otherwise, saves you buying a new pair and the heel the cobbler puts on lasts forever, think its about a fiver or less, depends on the size if the heel

Any good shoe repair shop will sort this for you and I think they might even be able to supply extra bits for the bottom of the heel, I know when I have purchased shoes recently there has been extras in the box.

i agree with purple hazey. though, if you have a 'proper cobbler' they are the cheapest ever. i have some gorgeous platforms with a chunky heel. timpsons estimated £15 proper cobbler.... 3 quid a heel :)

bring BOTH shoes at the same time to the shoe doctore. THE BIGGER and busier cities have the lowest prices. BOONDOX farm country cities are pricier. and ask shoe stores for referrals. they are the best resources.

If you take it to a good old fashioned place I'm sure they could mend it. Try a few - one will certainly be able to mend them.
