I find it interesting that when the "economy" is doing well (meaning I guess, no new unemployment stats) Well, then , Dubya's economic policies must be working (Hurray tax cuts!!) When the stock market is plummeting, Repubs start scurrying around. looking for someone, ANYONE else to blame.
Are you Repubs sure Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama didn't have something to do with China's "economic self-correction"?

No of course not the president has little sway over the stock market. The Iraq war has been around for nearly four years now and the stock market's been going up throughout most of that time. This is just a market correction and reaction to news from China. Note that the Dow rebounded around 100 points in the last hour yesterday.
Nice try though.

Golly, how insipid to try to blame Bush for every little thing!
Even on NPR, the financial experts were explaining this as a response to the corrections in the Chinese Stock Exchange. These happen all the time, but one analyst said there's really nothing to worry about, because with the average P/E ration being so much lower than in the past, the stocks should not sink much lower and it will rebound.

Bush and his policy making definately lack in coherence it seems, but, except for making MASSIVE blunders with the fed or some form of pricing control, there is little a President can do to influence the stock market.

His war policies didn't have anything to do with the crash of the stock market.

Nah, that's not all of it. It used to be said that when the USA sneezed, the rest of the world got a cold. On Monday, China sneezed and we got pneumonia. Can you read the writing on the wall?
