i think it would be possible. but it depends if you are an easy learner or not. i also studied piano lessons when i was 8 years old and now i am 14. i already forgor those things, but what i can remember is i learned reading notes in less than 1 month. so i think if you're really willing to learn, then i would be possible.

Is it too late? NO. Can you master piano in 1-2 years, NO.

Playing night and day will not do anything but get you burned out. You seem to be wanting to play for all the wrong reasons. It is about fun, not impressing a girl. Take my word, it don't work. She won't understand the H*ll you went through just to learn that one song for her. I know, I've done it.

If you seriously wish to play, do it in time. You just cant be a professional in 1-2 years. I've been playing 9+ years and there are still things that I don't know.

Just start learning for your own pleasure. Just one question for you though, if you do learn this one song, what will you do when she asks you to play another song? So you better gain a good bit of skill on the keys before you go showing off.

Good Luck!

of course yes! in my regular piano lessons, i have a classmate who's already, i think, 60 y/o. this is not a joke. and she played(before) the piano like she never played it before, but she do improves fast. my teacher says it's better to teach grown up people because they don't cause pains in the butt like other kid do

Yes, it is possible, but quite hard work. She might tire of waiting for you to finish practising, and go elsewhere.
