Rizol.. – An identity is forged throughout the formative years..an adult have already developed so much..can only learn new things..To be able..break them physically, psychologically and emotionally..without guarantee it would work.
“You have to be pretty messed up to do this to another person in the first place.”

JanS.. –
“..for 50 years I was one of the "controlled" persons without knowing it.
..the greatest problem was that I was fighting myself; fighting to let the real me emerge from (what doctors call) my "false self."..it can be, and often is done on the most unsuspecting of people. But it ain't right.”

:: As do some of the others above, clarity of the human condition has not eluded you.
purpl.. – “It has brought me to realise on reading Jan Stolz , and Rizoles answers..as a mother must adjust..that my youngster may have his opinions, and a difference of opinion without being overbearing..We all wish for our children to grow up to be a good citizen..we have to advise them that they are on the wrong track..suppression of the self is the altered ego.”

“I am so glad that you asked this question..”
:: Thank you very much for the compliment.
Being a disturbing issue, it is emotionally draining and not easily brought up under the circumstances.
One is heartened that there should be those whose interest lie in the long route to bringing up their children the best way possible by first looking at deep seated issues.
