Boy this is really a great guestion. I see so much of this today as-my family verses your family. Your wife is now your first responsibllity ,then your children but if both of you could accept your extended family -what a great family you both could have! Learn to love them as you do your own and your life would be so much easier. I know that blood is thicher than water but just give it a try. Good luck !

All I can say is Charity starts at home. YOUR HOME! Not your parents! So try to love your OWN family the love you give to your parents and siblings is obviously missing in your own! It's a form of maturing that you need to go through, and as you get older you will realise that if your parents had done what you are doing to your family at this present time, you would have been upset too with your father!

She is spoiled and jealous. You have many, many years of caring for your familiar group. This will ripen into caring in so many ways for your own, original family. It's not certain exactly how, for love is a crime of opportunity. She is going to blow out the flame of unity that can develop in nuclear families with her short sighted, cranky, ways, becoming a person who will dominate you, and children with her dislike of not only your family, but you, and anything you like, or love, all will become targets. Ask her if she'd like to start over with someone else, and you'll be happy to relieve her of the weight of those kids. Tell her she needs to go get herself a real a**hole for her man, so you can raise your kids in tranquility.

Maybe you should focus more on your wife & kids,as they are your priority in life, correct?Prioritize your family members & give your time & efforts to those you want to share it with most..Concern for your Father & Brother is perfectly fine & admirable, but your wife & children deserve your undivided attention & love for the sake of their future & yours..

Take care of your children and wife as they are your family!!!
You are responsible for them.
You may help your father and brother but your family are your kids and wife.
They always have to be to you at the first place!

Now your wife and your children are your new family. It does not mean that you have to forget your other relations, but they come first. Be gentle and give your wife attention. All will be well.

set your priorities straight. first, you are a husband and a father and those are your first responsibilities. Second your parents and brothers and sisters. put this in mind that your own family comes first. conflict arise when you dont set your priorities straight.
