I looked on wikipedia for "mile" but I am confused, there are so many types of miles...
I read this thing:
http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AmYtEvlsgXva259KFNHW6Qrpy6IX?qid=20070223020021AA5dHlc
and the person that has the best answer says he has "3 mile runs" during which he never stops, but how much is 3 miles, in kilometers?? And what type of miles are those?

Hehe, the relevance to men's health is that 3 mile runs are healthy, and that it is believed that you should not stop to recover your breath during that distance... NOW: 3 miles is in kilometers: 3*1.6=4.8... so let's say 5 kilometers runs... that's a great distance if you want to run it without ever stopping... That's what I think...

So I just want to ask you if it's healthy to run 5 km without stopping, taking also into account the fact that outside it's just above freezing, and I don't want to get sick... What to do, what to do... hmmm... Any advice?

Sorry to correct you Minx the first one to answer, 1 Mile is equal to 1.6 Kilometers not 2.2 :-).
160 Km = 100 Miles !
And can I ask what has this got to do with "Men's Health"

Take care and God Bless you !

Easy peasy. 2.2 miles per kilometre. 6.6 miles per 3 kilometres.
3.3 miles per 1.5 kilometres. Don't have a calculator, can't go any further !! Sorry. Just divide 3.3 miles by 10 = .33 miles. Then divide 1.5 kilometres by 10 = .15 kilometres. Sooooooooooo one tenth of 3.3 miles being .33 miles, deduct 1/10 off it. i.e. - 3.3 miles less .33 miles = ???? Then take 1/10 off 1.5 kilometres. i.e. 1.5 kilometres less .15 kilometres = 1.35 kilometres. Therefore, after all that bloody cr*p, hehehe, not real maths oriented......... 2.97 miles (which is closer than 3.3 !!) =1.35 kilometres..................... Yaaaaaaay, she did it. Nice round of applause please............. groooooooooooaning heard from the crowd !!!

........... :0)

PEACE

****** Hey Soul Doctor, sorry man, should I have waited my turn?? ****Eeeeeeeeek!!! Oh No!! Just realised the rather daft mistake I made !! Quite innocently giving you the ratio of pounds per kilo !!! hehehehe Oh well, you get that.......... or not.... :0)
