Because you married her. Women do what they can get away with; if you had told her before you started sleeping together that you can't stand women who gripe and nag, she would have saved all that anxiety until after the wedding, or at the very least, until she was given the ring. Once you were hooked, she felt safe and therefore let her true colors fly! Don't feel bad, you ain't the first, sucker!!

She probably wants your attention, and doesn't realize that complaining will get her the opposite.
Tell her every day, one good thing you're thankful for (her smile, would be a good one to start with or the sound of her laugh), and one positive thing that happened to you. Then ask her for hers. Whatever she says, listen very closely and give her positive reinforcement even if it's something really marginal like "I got these shoes 20% off"..congratulate her on being such a wise shopper.
Make being positive your outlook. If you complain to her, then she's going to complain back, so you know how tough she has it too. You could be being the cataylst here.

Because she is upset about something in her life. Why is she complaining and feeling the way that she does? Have you sat down with her and asked her why she is so upset and unhappy all of the time? Comminicating with your wife may clear this up. Your wife may also need counseling for how she is feeling to and who knows you both may also benefit from marriage counseling.

Perhaps you should try to help her out a little. what sort of things does she complain about. If this is bothering you enough to ask questions to strangers, perhaps you should try to make her happier.
Most people become negative when they're unhappy about their situation. Ask yourself... Are you a good husband? (be honest)
Do you do everything you can to show her you love her? could you do better? I think you probably can.
If she's not complaining about you, what are you worried about, anyway? When you get older, (if your marriage even lasts that long, --with you complaining about her and her just complaining--) you will realise that it's okay for her to *****, as long as she leaves you out of it.

I find that when i am complaining about everything it is either getting close to that "time" of the month, or I am getting to the point that i am ready to explode because something has been eating on me.

it form of feels that there is something deeper happening interior along with your spouse. What it appears that evidently like is worry. i be responsive to your thinking what's she afarid of, yet in basic terms she is conscious this and could desire to tell you. attempt sitting her down or taking her out someplace the place the the two one in all you will have a non violent putting. Ask her what's bothering her, tell her your asking when you consider which you adore her. attempt to unravel what's bothering her. i do no longer think of she needs you to get in a vehicle twist of destiny, i think of something is bothering her. till you 2 take a seat and communicate approximately this you'll in no way be responsive to what's on her strategies. From there you will get an concept of issues and do what's perfect. i'm hoping each and every thing works out for you!!!

She is unhappy about EVERYTHING! We usually lash out at the ones we love most. I find myself doing the same thing from time to time. My husband is negative about everything and it makes me crazy! Sometimes I think people should just separate every fews years for a while.

Maybe you should lead by example. When she hears you coming back with the positive things in life. she may get on board with you. It's worth a try. People tend to act more positive around other positive people.

negative wife? this is an oxymoron.
women have earned this right after you gave up all your rights at the alter.
its just their way of telling us we don't amount to a pile of dog chit in their eyes and the reason close their eyes during sex is because they don't want to see a guy have a good time...
if they thought we got pleasure from their constant nagging and bitching they would probably stop doing it!!!
