Question on application form for Customer Service - help?

i used to work in a supermarket for about 5 years.

i have no job at present, but i have an application form for a shoe shop.

on the shoe shop it asks "Please tell us about any experience that you have that is relevant to this job application".

what shall i write? i work on the checkouts as an operator.

Handling cash, dealing with the public in a courteous and efficient manner. You can work as part of a team or on your own initiative etc. Good luck.

Customer service -
Communication skills - working with people daily not just customers but co works boss etc.
problem resolution - what did you do when something was wrong?
fast pass environment - what about when it was busy only checkout open long lines etc.
dealt with stressful situations if you did be prepare to respond to this information in an interview.

Well the skills you used in the supermarket will be the same - talk about working in a busy environment, how helpful and friendly you were to customers, cash handling etc.

customer sv is gr8 in your part you can tell them about problems with customers and dealing with life in a day to day basis at the dest you also will have dealt with call and wrong price codes , returns and faulty goods etc

good luck i dont think you will have any problems you will walk it in new shoes from the new job

Your face to face experience in dealing with 100's of people on a daily basis should be a good starter.
