I am 27 years old male and currently suffering from some financial stress and difficulties. Due to such circumstances, I become a bit little dry with my wife i.e. I couldn’t say the nice words which I used to say previously like (I love you, I miss you, etc).

My wife really needed these words, specially these days, which she has tiered with our home affairs cooking, cleaning, and dealing with our 1 year old daughter.

Although that I’ve discussed this issue with her and I told her of my current circumstances, she decided to send me a hard message in order to know that she was upset from the fact that I don’t say nice words anymore and appreciate what she does for the home.

Is it right and fair that my wife refuses to do her duties at home in order to let me know of her feeling discussed above, although she is aware of my circumstances

The fact that you are stressed out from financial difficulties does not give you the ok to start ignoring your wife. No matter how stressed out you are, you should still be able to look at your wife and tell her you love her and need her in your life. You are asking your wife to be understanding of what you are going through. That's fine as long as you, too understand her saide and what sh;e going through. Your wife is your partner. Treat her that way. She;ll be a lot more loving and understanding if her man is willing to notice her and appreciate her.

i think it's not right. as a wife, she should understand you more than any other person could. she shouldn't give you more stress. in fact, she should even help you solve your financial problem in a good way. but even though you have a lot of things to do, you shouldn't forget your responsibilities as a husband.

Just because money is tight, you can't tell her that you love her?
You should tell her even more now, money problems put stress on a relationship, and people need to work together, to stay together. Pull your head out, and tell her how you still feel about her.
