Anyone suggest any great hair straighteners? Wet to dry etc? i dont mind spending a little extra if i know they are good and do the job probably. I just dont know what to look for...

The best variety available in the UK is GHD (Good Hair Day). They are quite expensive though (£90). The best Wet to Dry ones are made by Remington, they will set you back about £45. I would recommend both highly. Always buy ceramic.
Using Wet to Dry is fine if the straighteners are made for it. It will not 'cook' your hair.

The american Chi Straighteners are good, and the ghl ones are good as well.
I would never ever EVER use hair straighteners on wet hair, it literally cooks it, you DON'T want that, especially if you're using straighters worth their weight in anything.

ALL CERAMIC. the ones at the big malls...pricey but the best and the HIGHEst heat in the safest application.
*researched and bought and used a few*** my experience and survey based on strangers and friends, etc of different hair types and ethnicities

actually the ghd is the best i know, but it's to be used on dry hair.
for wet to dry, there's a remington one but i'm not sure if it works.

C.H.I. = Ceramic Haistyling Iron. They are the best!!!!! They are for dry hair!
