You've downloaded them as a windows media audio file which means you can play them on your windows media player on your computer. Should have downloaded them in mp3 format insted to play on mp3 player. You need to convert them- this article might help.

It sounds like your mp3 player doesn't support wma, or the wma are DRM protected.

All is not lost you can convert them to mp3. What I would do is "record" them using a recorder, such as Audacity and then save them to mp3. You need to get the Lame plugin for Audacity to be able to do that. When recording you set the recording source to "Wave output". You play the wma in Windows media Player and record it with Audacity (or whatever you have, I use Goldwave).

There are a few converters out there, but they all seem to be shareware rather than free.

Many MP3 players wont play WMA files, so you need a file converter. There are lots of them about but you can get one free here http://free-wma-to-mp3-converter.en.softonic.com/ie/48461

you can go into windows media player and go to sync. Then you can "sync" the songs onto your mp3 player.
