SM city customers are few higher upper class; most are members of upper class strata of society for they have enough thousands of pesos to spend; average number of middle class for they frequent the mall for necessities; very few lower class as their earning is for daily necessities.
SM city department stores if I am not mistaken , has the most branches in the country. Now, because of sprouting malls, may be second class or third class dept. store. for there in now asia mall, robinson , landmark, etc.

lt caters to the B, C, and a little to the D class.
Some own a car but majority are jeepney, bus and FX commuters. Taxis for the supermarket customers.
People from all ages troop to the mall as it provides their needs. Kids can play at Kids' Village and in Wonderland. Teeners, adults and seniors can watch movies, shop at various stalls, eat at fast-food chains, have their facials and foot spas at salons and see a doctor for a check-up in clinics. All inside the mall!

Urban residents, middle income or better. Usually bilingual, Tagalog and English, and not very old (say 50 and younger). The typical shopper there also owns at least one automobile in his/her household.

Well I go at least every other week. I would guess that all typical city shoppers go there to buy things they can't get at their palengke.
