The car was vandalized and now needs to be repainted! I took it to the garage that the insurance company use, and they reckon that the re-spary cannot be done, but my car has only done 35,000 miles and is 7 years old, and if the insurance have their way then my car will be scrapped and I do not want that to happen & want to keep the car. what are my options?

A respray can cost anything from 800 to 2000 pounds depending on the way you respray it, normally a hand spray solid colour (no air extraction) willc ost around 1000 pounds, but then the colour will not be great, a proper one in a baking room will cost anything around 2000 pounds

recently had a basic respray of my car and was charged 55pounds a panel.sounds a lot but is worth paying if you dont want your car to be scrapped

depends where you go really, it was gonna cost my boyfriend £200 to have his hyundai accent resprayed so your probably looking at something between £160-£350 depending on the colour you want and where you go! hope that helps

Why would you want your car resprayed? No matter who does it you can always tell its been painted by overspray on window seals etc. Take the insurance money and buy an original newer model!
