If you paid by PayPal you can claim your money back. Its only been 8 days, it may have been stopped at customs. Ask the seller for proof of postage. Give it another week, if still nothing then file a complaint.

If you are a buyer on ebay and a month or so later you decide you don't like the item or if you sold it to someone else that didn't like it and wanted their money back, just tell ebay that the item was not as described, Paypal will give your money back and you can keep the item. This happened to me on a $300.00 item, even got positive feed back, then 23 days after the item had been shipped the buyer complained to paypal and got their full amount out of my paypal account. You tell me, Is This A honest outfit?

Always use sellers that provide proof of postage. Always use a credit card to pay for items over £100. Don't give up hope on your boots, coming from abroad anything can go wrong. Give them 14 - 17 days and then reort to ebay - if you paid by paypal you should be covered for most of the money. Best wishes www.juliemarker.co.uk

yes. i bought what was supposed to be a tiffanys bracelet. got it with the box, the bag, everything...but it turned out to be fake. unfortunately, i was new to the ebay thing and never reported it. now i can't resell it cause i am not that kind of person.
as far as not receiving the items, wait a few more days. the reason i say that is i just sold a movie to someone in Canada and the lady at the p.o. said because of customs it takes things a lot longer to reach the person. have you tried to contact the seller? see if they heard the same thing about customs or anything. good luck...but you are doing the right thing about being suspicious.

What many sellers do is allow the goods to go cheap and make up for it on the postage by sending it say 2nd class which is a lot cheaper.I recently paid £1.99 for an optical mouse and £5.00 to post it (apparently 1st class) within the uk,I didnt receive it for over 10 days! The exact same item from hongkong was 50p cheaper with postage of 2-3days.

Buying or selling on EBay is based on trust. You should not blame EBay for an unscrupulous seller. You can start an item unreceived dispute and after seven days you can make a claim with EBay to get most of your money back. I once bought something from Canada and didn't get it and I got my money back from EBay. As a rule, I don't buy or sell to anybody out of the US and you should do the same. Also, sometimes items are randomly selected for inspection by customs and they can hold items for as long as they want. Once I had an item from China held for three weeks in customs.

Yes I have gotten ripped off by some sellers on ebay. Usually they are the power sellers who get hundreds of order each day. Ebay usually kicks them off. Definitely contact ebay customer service and explain what happened and you can also report the people who ripped you off in the customer service section. You can get a refund definitely. I did when it happened to me.

So far so good with ebay.
Always check the seller's feedback.
Sometimes there can be lengthy delays with postage - being sent via other routes. Keep communication going with your seller. Like with all things if the 'bargain' is too good to be true - usually is.
