I applaud him for doing something completely different. I love the Harry Potter movies, but I'm glad he branched out into theatre. I know the subject matter is contoversial and all, but I think its mostly because he's 17 and people still think of him as an 11 year old innocent boy. But people have to remember, its just playing a part, its his job.
