(the value of pie = 22/7)
the radius of a circle is 1/2 of diameter which is the longest chord of the circle.if u know the radius u kan find the circumference verry easily.the formula for circumference = 2*22/7*radius
for e.g.----- take radius = 14 cm.
circumference= 2*22/7*14
= 88 cm
hope this helped

Formula of circumference is 2*(22/7)*r. (r=radius,22/7=pi)
Measure the radius of circle by using a compass or a scale and substitute in formula!
For eg:
If the radius of the circle is 21cm then the circumference will be=2*(22/7)*21 = 132cms.

The circumference of a circle is the distance around the outside of the circle. It could be called the perimeter of the circle.
circle :
to find the circumference of a circle , the formula is 2 * 22/7 *r,
which can also be written as 2*3.14* r (where 'r' is the radius of the circle).
ex: we hav a circle of radius 4 cms. therefore, its circumference is 2* 3.14* 4 = 25.12 cms

Circumference:
Square: 4s
where; s = the measurement of the sides
Rectangle: 2a+2b
where; a = width
b = length
Circle: 2(pi)r or 2(pi)D
where; r = radius of the circle
D = diameter of the circle
pi = 3.1416 (constant)
Circumference (perimeter) formula varies with the shape of a figure.

To find circumference first you find the diameter...that's the line that goes right through the center of the circle and them multiply it by 3.149. If you only have the radius...that's half of the line through the center of the circle you multiply it by two and then once you have that answer you multiply it by 3.149. For example:
diameter=1cm
1*3.149
circumference=3.149cm

All circles , big,small, medium have the same circumference. 1/2 of circumference is 180 degress. so find circumference of a circle is add 180 and 180 equals 360 degress.

I believe in finding the circumference you multiply in this way.
Take PI and the radius and multiply by 2 or 2 * pi* radius

Multiply the radius by its self, then multiply that by 3.14. The radius is the distance from the center of the circle to the edge. if the radius is seven inches, then
7X7X3.14=
No, I won't give you the answer.
