What is the difference between car and air pollution. As far as I know, they are interconnected as car pollution caues air pollution but what exactly is the definition of car pollution? I really need help with this.

I think you have it right. However, there are many aspects to 'car pollution', such as:

1) engine exhaust (causes air pollution)
2) disposal of batteries and tires (toxic waste pollution of landfills)
3) oil and other leaking liquids, tire wear, etc. pollute road surfaces (which after rainfall can lead to water pollution).
