I am getting married in July but I refuse to wear a sporran made from the cruelty to animals. I have managed to find immitaion leather shoes & belt but no sporran. I found a silly little one on a website that looked like a purse but I would like one that is realistic as possible. I wouldnt usually bother looking like I am wearing animal but it is for the one I love!

Sporrans and Bags : A Vegan Alternative
I am able to offer a vegan alternative for those who would rather wear animal free sporrans and bags. I can make vegan sporrans and bags from Lorica, a high quality, durable leather alternative (Alternative Outfitters - Vegan Shoes). Lorica is available in a good range of colours and in leather, suede and nubuck textures, which means that I can reproduce most designs. I have a small quantity of black Lorica leather and nubuck in my workshop but can order other colours which only adds a couple of days to the completion time. An example of a vegetarian sporran is detailed on the right and can be seen in the sporrans gallery.

I dont know what a sporran is! Keep looking on the internet, but dont give in and buy one that has been made with cruelty to animals, it's not worth it!
