All you have to do is plug it into your computer, pull up itunes and it will automatically unlock it...
I had the same problem, I felt stupid for a while! LOL

You have to connect your ipod to your computer and then open itunes, itunes will unblock it and when you disconnect it from your computer you'll be able to use it again.
