Sounds like your provider cut your service off. Call them and see if the bill is delinquent or something. The other thing is take your phone in and they can test if it is even working correctly. This isn't something you can fix on your own, but I'm betting there is a problem with your billing.

It doesn't necessary mean you service has been interrupted you may be by a tower undergoing work... take the battery out wait about 30 seconds and replace this is a hard reset with the phone still powered on you will not lose any information in your phone. If this doesn't work call tech support from a land line phone because they can't check the phone if you are on it and they will be able to check other things if that hard reset didn't work o.k oh yea you may just need a software update which you get at the full service location by a technican that's free.
