Hi my husband has a vw golf gti and the drivers side of the car is flooded!!!
He had the screen replaced etc and when we woke this morning after heavy rain it was flooded AGAIN!!
My husband does not think it is his door, so where else can it be coming from he has checked the water in the car etc?

The best way to figure this out is to have him (or you) sit in the car with a flashlight while the other runs the hose over the car. This is how I do it and am usually successful.

Check the seals around the door and windshield and check the heater core as soon as possible

maybe his windshield is leaking.tell him to run some clear silicone across the windshield and see if that fixes it.
