Of course it does. it affects the whole family. I have been through cancer treatments with my Mom, my sister and my Dad. It definitely affects the whole family. Hopefully, it will bring your family closer together like it did my family. The cancer patient needs as much support as they can get. The treatments make them very tired and sick alot of times. Hang in there and fight this cancer together. Remember those vows....in sickness and in health, for better for worse. Be a positive in this persons life. It can actually bring your relationship closer.

Yes it sure can at times. But if you really love each other this hurts more then anything But you support and love each other through it all. A person who has cancer needs help support and love just like anyone else. Cancer is a physical condition and is not purposely done to try and hurt or ruin a marriage . The saddest part is when the person dies. Love each other no matter what and live each day to the fullest and have fun doing things together and live like each day is your last. This way when the person passes away there are no regrets and remember that when they do pass away they are not suffering anymore and are in a better place and someday you will see them again.

Of course. It's a highly stressful situation for both people. Someone you (hopefully) love is very ill, it's going to be a very difficult time.
However, it may also make you closer than you've ever been. When you realize how very precious the moments are that we have with the people we love.
