I have never tried turtle or seen it available anywhere in the store. I'm not about to go out and find a turtle to kill and eat. Maybe I would try it if the supermarket was offering samples but even though they offered emu once I have never seen turtle. Also, the supermarket didn't continue to sell emu because I haven't seen it since and I thought it was actually pretty good.

They carry it in Austin's Central Market stores, along with buffalo steaks, emu, alligator, quail, escargot, and wittle bunny wabbits.
