I want to hire a people carrier for 1 week to drive to france and back on holiday in Sept.

Most will let you take cars abroad.....but it will cost you extra depending on how long you are out of the country. This is for the 5* European cover which is incase you break down. A week is approximtely £100. Ring around and get some prices. Check that you can take that particular vehicle abroad as some companies have restrictions on vehicle class.

Most of them will but you're generally cheaper to rent abroad as U.K companies will charge about one and a half times the normal charge and you need to get your own 5* breakdown cover etc..........
