Can I install Windows Vista from a USB mobile hard disk ?

I have copied the Windows Vista setup package to my USB 80-GB mobile hard disk. Can I install the new OS from the USB disk ?

Yes you can but you'll need to check if your motherboard support the boot from USB option or not

Yes if you set the usb up as bootable.
If not, boot from a boot cd, then use the usb drive to install.
