If you love and are loved in return,
then your only wish has been fulfilled.

i think this is solely because your wishe are only have realized too. we wish for some things to change without realizing that if they did change or we did get what we asked for, some things might be altered too and then things wouldnt really seem to be the same anymore. maybe this does not only happen in love, maybe in life generally it does. maybe we too are not meant to wish, maybe wishing is a lame resort on our part to try to have a tough of that "magic" if ever it came true. maybe we were just meant to be pawns in this tiny game and nothing we ever ask for will ever come.

the realities never live up to the expectations we had as children/teenagers etc. (damn those fairy tales!).
I've learnt you can't have everything in life so we shouldnt expect it from our partners. Choose someone who has as many of our wish-traits as possible but realise we'll never have everything, that's just people, and also the grace to realise our partners wishes may only be half fulfilled too!

i dont actually agree with that i'm afraid, when you find that special someone you feel complete, at last you are a whole. and your dreams wishes and ambitions are twice as many as they were before,
