Police wanted information about a shop keeper in the market. They made a constable sit like a beggar, facing his shop to spy on him from a considerable distance. Every evenig he reported to the police about the shop keeper and the work expected was done. BUT the constable resigned his job and continued to beg!

We pay them becoz they are poor people.they have not sufficent money to eat something.so if the god us given us this much that we help others also than what would be the problem.

its the basic feeling of guilt seeing their condition which gives rise to pity & compassion which makes us pay them. as for them not giving us anything, i would like to disagree with that. they make us realise how fortunate we are in comparison to them. we learn to count our blessings & in our heart of hearts we strive to make an even greater effort to achieve something substancial in our lives.
