I do and because of pop we received our first VCR machine. I was young and entered a competition on Pobs programme with the first prize being a tour of the studio in Edgbaston and the 25 runners-up receiving a video. We didnt have a VCR machine at the time as they were expensive but my dad promised one should i win. We all thought nothing about it until about 6 weeks later i received a note saying there was a package for me at the post office. Mum took me down there and low and behold it was the video! Dad kept his word and he bought a video recorder - which worked for about 15 years!

I remember Pob vaguely. Something about an opening title sequence that involved a wooden puppet spitting all over the screen and writing his name in it.

No I remember it all too - and he used to spit at the screen and wipe his name in it. There was also a boy at our school who looked like Pob!

my nephew is pob and just to b really cruel when the family feels like a laugh we make him say "no ernie no ernie pob P O B" oh what fulfilling lives we lead

Yes unfortunately I do remember it. Was the creator on drugs or something, I mean, a wooden puppet just spitting all over the screen. Ewwww!

Wasnt it that ugly looking puppet withbig sticking out ears and always used to breath onto glass and make it mist up then write on it

I remember it the kids near me used to pull there ears out and puff there cheeks out to look like him.
