Hey i'm actually an IT technician at a school, and everyone is right, they are blocked for a reason - alot of students are easily distracted...and be careful what you go on aka yahoo answers, because they can track what you've accessed and block this as well. Most kids try for example

but if its like my school, sorry hun, it would already be blocked.

do a search on google for proxy bypass
it will bring up a wepage which by passes the security on ure network. You type your address in the top and away u go access any page u want

try finding some sites from home, write them down and then bring them into school.
