The answer of this question is personal preference. In my opinion television is more effective. I like BBC which is popular among millions of people in the world. Its reporting is well researched and presentation is excellent. You can have back ground of the news on the web page.

The television. Noone can underestimate the power of the image. The picture can tell what a million lines can't. Also, only a certain niche read the newspapers now. The television is in every house. When you need updates on a certain news story, you simply switch on your TV. You don't waint till morning and go buy a newspaper. It's sad that most of the people who do buy newspapers do it for the classifieds or the coupons. The most read section of an average newspaper is the comics section. The world is turning into a non-reading-friendly environment.

Umm sorry I can't give you a proven answer, but I can offer my opinion. I would think television. Because people sit back and absorb it. It is much easier and quicker.

ill have to say television because a survey shows that obesity is growing due to watching more t.v and that goes more to children.
