Basically, it is the same as when you are connecting to Oracle in any manner. You use the connect string

user/password@schema.

It is your Oracle log in and password.

Well, SQL plus is a client connecting you to the server. There is a chance that you wil have

username: scott
password: tiger

already on your server. It depends on your administrator if he allows you to access that sample account.

If you have installed your own copy of personal oracle or something, you'll be able to do everything you want with:

username : system
password: manager
