models//piercings?

Question

i want to be a model in the near future.
however, i have been wanting to get my belly button pierced for a while.
do you know of any models with their bellys or anything else pierced?
if not, what kinds of piercings would be acceptable?

It really doesn't matter at all. for print, photos get retouched so heavily that it's no big deal to just make it disappear, and for runway you wouldn't see it anyway.

top models needs a walk and a body to put clothes in, not a piercing! most models i';ve seen on high end fashion shows only uses their ear piercing and no other. they mayhave a nose piercing, or in the lip, tongue or belly or even nipple for all i care but they dont really show it off. at the beach maybe they wear a belly ring, but not at the catwalk. please. think.

earrings of course should be fine, but the belly ring may get in the way of some of the clothing you want to do, and be super irritating, let alone get infected, especially in the beginning...

I would think what ever you can take out that wouldn't physically "ruin" your appearance for pictures, video, or whatever else you might do, you can always take them off for a shoot or something, but if you wanted to keep them, just replace them back After your shoot or play, etc that you are doing.

okay. so i'm not a top model. but i've done a few runway shows. and photoshoots.
for runway shows. bellyrings are a BIG NO. they want to concentrate on what you're wearing & what the designer designed. not your belly.
and about photoshoots.it really depends on WHAT you're modeling for. if you're modeling for a kid clothing company. of course you should take off the belly ring to give off a fresh-goodgirl message. but if you're going for something like babyphat or applebottoms. bellyring be do fine.

they dont care about your belly button you can put a filler in if you need too. It's not like a tatoo or a face piercing. And if you dont want it anymore its easy to take out and no one will see a hole.

gtting your belly pierced should not mess withbeing a model.
hwoever, it's not very good for you, so make sure you WANT to really get your bely ring (long-term consequences?) done, not because of the modeling job.
DO NOT get ur tongue pierced. cartilage is fine, and nose is....ok...a bit dressy hto.

belly button rings look HOT!!! but they can get infected easy though. do what ever you think. earrings are acceptable

i think that they will let you were a f-ing ring.... i am use that there is a model out there that does.... i would get it done n-e ways... i am going to get mine done too....
