I think that is just so sweet. Just show them and tell them how much you love them and how precious they are to you. Play with them, read to them, tickle them, just love them and let them know they can come to you about any thing. Have a daily routine, rules, and discipline, kids need that, and want that even though they may not let you know, but as soon as you stop they will wonder what's wrong with you, it's very important. Teach them things, let them help you. If you have boys don't be hard on them, let them be kids, let them cry, it builds their self esteem and confidence. Make sure you always show their mother respect and treat her good even if your not together.

Listen to your children, let them know they have been heard, that they are loved, and that you are proud of them. Give them guidance when they need it, and lead by example. Always respect them and give them freedom to pursue their dreams as they grow older. Great question.

Be supportive, listen, read to your kids, tell them stories about when you were a kid, play with them, build their trust, and encourage them to talk to you.
