Yes she is gay. She came out on her show Ellen during the late 90's. That was part of the reason it was cancelled. Neil Patrick HArris is an actor who has recently come out. Also, Rosie Odonnell is gay. There are many other actors and actress's that are gay.

Yes, Ellen Degeneres is 100% lesbian and her partner, Portia De Rossi is bi.
I can only think of singers who are gay! George Micheal, Elton John, Will Young (and they British too!)
