Negative:
1) An older person with a long trench coat walking with bags being homeless
2) someone wearing bib overhauls being a farmer
3) someone with kids having different fathers being a whore/slut
4) people on welfare are no good and lazy
5) Black people are bad

Positive:
1) people with expensive cars are rich (Porsche, Lamborghini) (I just had a friend that bought a Porsche for $2,000 in great shape, but high milage).
2) Business owners have got money
3) people who smile a lot are happier (waitresses smile too, but it's part of their job)
4) people in important places like the government are smart

Changing stereotypes is largely the job of individuals. Each of us should examine the assumptions that we make about others and ask ourselves where those assumptions come from. Upon what information are they based? Are they based on personal experiences with others? In what context? Might "the other" be different in different situations? Are your assumptions based on things you have heard from others? Learned from the TV or movies? Learned in school...etc?
