Start by trying to get a small job, like your local shop or something. May not be 'amazing' but at least you'll have some sort of income whilst looking for other jobs. Don't try and look for the thing you want to do at the moment, just apply for anything as a temporary while you look for what you really want.

Have you tried the Job Centre site?
Try handing your C.V. to every place near you, and go onto websites of places you see as a possiblity, maybe ask them questions over the phone or email, asking them what is desired to be good for that job.

See if you can get help on your cv, that could be the problem.
You've got to remember that there are many people out there like you and also lots of people applying for the same job, some with more experience in that sector than others.

You're still young, don't worry much about it. Have you taken any college courses? If not, I suggest going this route. I'm 25, still in college because I took a few years off to live my life (I'd been in school since I was three, and I mean in elementary) ... I think you should go on a "wandering journey" living is the best possible thing for you before you become one of the cogs in the machine... your soul dies when you have a 9-5, trust me I know. Six months should be ample time to actually enjoy being a young adult before you become a "responsible adult" Dude, I envy you. But when you get to 25, in no case whatsoever, should you be unemployed, or not have at least 2-3 years of college expierence. But for now, think about summer, its coming up... fast. Have you ever thought about becoming a roadie?

i think before you go wandering in the wild you could try registering with a job agency

or getting off your behind printing out a heap of copies of your resume, putting some neat and tidy on, and go canvassing, leaving copies of your resume as you go along looking for work at businesses

if there is no work then leave your resume anyhow.

and have a clean out of some junk and load it all on ebay and sell it at auction to get yourself some lil cash in the meantime
