Well I saw on the news last night that US diplomats (including Condolesa Rice) are now in talks with Iran and Syria regarding those two countries helping out in Iraq. So a US attack on Iran looks less likely now than it did a few days ago.

Probably not before Bush is finished with Iraq. War is often a major driver for the US economy, well until now that is. If the US does not go to war for a long time, we'd probably see a decrease in the economy.

I doubt that America has the resources and the will to get into another conflict right now. But they will do a lot of Sabre Rattling
