Fleury is having a good season and really starting to show how good he will be. His only problem is consistency righ tnow, hes making big saves and letting a soft one here and there. His improvement is drastic over last year but he still has room to improve. All in all he will be a top 3 goalie soon, hes just not there yet. Hes having a good year and he will get better hes just not a top flight goalie like brodeur, hasek, luongo and so on. But mark my words htis pittsburgh team will be one to reckon with. I know this is drastic and I am not saying they are equal but does pittsburgh not remind you of the oilers from the early 80's?? Young superstars and a young goalie. High scoring team that doesnt need shutout from their goalie, just needs the big save. When Fleury gets that going for him look out for pittsburgh!! They also need a lil more depth on d!

He has a good record (29-14-7), 2.89 GAA, .904%. He is very good, but doesn't get the credit he deserves though. He is one of the many reasons why Pittsburgh is in the playoff race. He was winning so many games, and was the goalie when the Penguins went on the long 16 game point streak, and kept winning majorly because of Crosby, Malkin, Staal, and Gonchar (Yes.. Sergei Gonchar). Fleury will be a great goalie in his career, and he's only 22!! That's the amazing part. He's very good at goalie, a big part of the Penguins, and he's only 22. Pittsburgh has some young players, they just got to work on keeping all them there, mostly all of the young players contracts will go way up. They better enjoy it while they aren't that much compared to what they are going to get.

Well I have no idea what he was doing Monday against the Islanders a week ago but in general he has gotten good since Christmas break. He is starting to look like he belongs as the starting goalie. That start against the Islanders though was terriable, and anyone who says it wasn't either didn't see or is a liar. Yeah the players weren't helping the most because they had played less then 24 hours ago. He though was fresh(didn't play the game the day before) and was shaky. He let in some goals he normally wouldn't let in.

Recently he has had a few bad games, most of which the Pens found a way to win by a goal, a couple 6-5 and 5-4 games, then had a really really bad game against the Islanders and got benched for 2 games. But man he came back strong last night against the Devils, just didn't get any goal support.

Fleury is amazing!!! He sat out a few nights, but replaced Thibault and is back at his starting position. He's a butterfly-style goalie and he has so much potential...he's only 22 years old! Big game tomorrow vs. the Rangers and Pens alum Jaromir Jagr...Let's Go Pens!!!

29 - 14 - 7 with a 2.89 GA and a .904 save percentage he started off the season a little ruff but came around about the all star break and was in goal for all but 2 of the 16 game point streak he fell off as of late and was pulled 2 games in a row for with telabut not sure on the spelling there getting the start but last night he looked solid when he got his starting job back

During the streak we just had, Fluery was terrible, 4 or more goals allowed in 7 of 9 starts. Only reason that wasn't a long losing streak was the offense putting up 5 or more goals a game.
Look at February 1st thru 19th, he's not been very good lately.

However, before this streak he was doing good and a core reason why we are in a playoff race.
