What do you think about the free distribution schemes that our present tamilnadu government has implemented..? Do you think tat it is favourable for the people or else do you think that it'd make the people lazy..? Please support your answers with valid reasons.. And if possible mention the source.. If you do so it'd be more helpful for me..

Hi,
I am not completely satisfied with this scheme. At the same time I am not complete aganist it as well.
I would agree with this scheme - 61%.
I would dis-agree with this scheme - 39%
Advantages of this scheme - what I feel:
a. It gives an opportunity for people to see, learn from Media which they have been denied till now by the financial constraints
b. Every middle class knows the value of television, may be for the people from upper income or higher income class it is a different story, but for people in middle class (who comprise 50+ % of Indian population) and the lower middle class this Television is a boon.
c. Imagine our children going to somebody else house for watching movies or cricket etc; it as happened to me in my life. It is highly disgusting the way the neighbors treat you. It is a good scheme to change these situation
Dis-Advantages of this scheme - what I feel:
a. Instead of giving it free, we can provide them with opportunities in terms of job, which they must use to earn some valuable money and then they can buy TV with money out of their pocket.
b. It's free.
Rather than that it is a good scheme.

free distrubution of colour tv scheme is definetly waste.... it make the people lazy.. the Goverment get monthly money through cable TV.... Most of the TV's are in Bad Condition...
